DJG announces recall of selected Cosco High Rise Booster Seats

Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. (DJG) of Columbus, IN., has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in the Cosco® High Rise Booster Seats. These seats have an incorrect warning label. This warning label, on the side of the seat, states that the restraint is for use in the forward facing mode for children UNDER 1(one) year of age. This seat is for use in the forward facing mode for children OVER one year of age. The instructions and all other labeling on the restraint are correct. DJG is providing a free in-home repair kit to consumers who purchased the child restraint with a date code between October 1, 2003 and October 31, 2003 and a model number of 22-297, 22-298, or 22-299. Enclosed you will find this kit for your child restraint. It includes a replacement label and instructions. Follow the instructions to make the repair.
