Now that Fall is here and in full swing, it’s time to pack away the shorts, break out the sweaters, and embrace the autumnal mood! We all know the importance of social distancing to keep everybody healthy, but luckily Autumn comes with lots of outdoor activities that make it easy to have fun while staying socially distant! Here are our top recommendations for fall activities for you and your little ones:

  1. Apple Picking. When you think fall, you think apple picking. Pack everyone in their favorite Maxi-Cosi car seats and head to the nearest apple orchard! Your little ones will love running through the trees and collecting all the apples they can reach, and you get enough apples to make as many apple flavored treats imaginable.
  2. Pumpkin Picking/Carving. It’s Halloween season and that means it’s pumpkin time. Your little ones will love picking out their very own pumpkin and deciding how to carve & decorate it! A family of Jack-o-Lanterns completes a Fall front step.
  3. Nature Walks/Leaf Peeping. If you are lucky enough to live somewhere where the leaves change color once Autumn hits, take advantage and go on an adventure! Keep the little ones cozy, comfy, and safe while strolling along looking at leaves with a Maxi-Cosi stroller. Add some fresh apple cider & cider donuts and you’ve got all the makings of a perfect fall day.
  4. Leaf Pile Jumping. Okay, so maybe this doesn’t make raking up the back yard go faster, but it sure is fun! Get your little ones involved in cleaning up the yard, then let them go wild jumping into the leaves. Sure, there’ll be some more raking to do after, but who can resist a heaping pile of leaves?
  5. Baking. Fall is the season of fresh baked treats and warm delicious homemade meals. You’ve already picked all those apples, so why not put them to good use? Pies, crisps, cookies, cakes … the list is endless. Have your little ones help measure out ingredients and mix up the batter – everything tastes better when it’s made with love!
